What is an All-You-Can-Eat Chaat Party?
Don’t you miss eating all the panipuris you can eat, served fresh to you, just as you want it, filled with the right proportion of potatoes, and chickpeas, and chutneys, and pani ... just like back home. You no longer have to miss ... you can have it have it your way with an All You Can Eat Chaat Party. Yes, all you can eat freshly made chaats and more. We serve fresh chaats customized to each guests requirements at a location selected by you--your home, your backyard, a clubhouse, a park, your office… We bring all the food, equipment and disposables (plates, bowls, spoons, forks, etc.). We assemble all dishes per your guests requirements. After all guests have eaten, we clean up and take all the food back with us.
What dishes can I select from?
You can select from most all dishes that we serve at our restaurant. Currently we offer the following: Pani Puri, Dahi Puri, Sev Puri, Bhel Puri, Chaat Papdi, Pav Bhaji, Vada Pav, Tikki Burger, Ragda Pattice, Ragda Samosa, and Ragda Kachori. We may also offer Vegetable Biryani if special cases.
Do you have a minimum and maximum number of guests that you cater to?
We need at least 25 guests. However, we recommend at least 50 guests to keep per person cost low. We have catered parties for up to 400 guests.
How much advance notice do you need?
We recommend a month, especially during the summer months.
How much time does a chaat party take?
Generally two to three hours of service is more than sufficient for up to a hundred guests. Additional time is needed with more dishes/guests. We need a minimum of half an hour to set up and get ready, and another half-hour to wrap up.
Do you send people to serve or do we have to prepare and serve ourselves?
Yes we send the chaat experts to make the chaats for you per you guests' requirements. All you have to do is enjoy with your quests.
How many people do you normally send?
Generally, two persons are sufficient for up to 50 guests with three dishes. Additional servers are needed, as the number of dishes / guests increase. As a rule of thumb, 1 server is needed for every 25 guests.
Do you bring the equipment and disposables?
Yes we bring all the equipment to keep food warm and to assemble the chaats. We also bring all disposables including plates, bowls, spoons, forks, napkins, trash bags, etc. We do not bring cups.
What do I have to arrange for?
You have to arrange for cups and drinks, and food for kids if needed. We will need at least one table or flat surface (approximately 6ft x 4ft). We will use one or two electrical outlets, if available, for food warmers. With your permission, we may use your kitchen appliances, e.g., oven or range if the party is at your home.
What happens to the food that is not consumed?
We always bring more food than required. We take back all unconsumed food and do not leave any behind. Please do not request us to leave food behind.
Do you clean up?
Yes, we do. Clean up is limited to areas, equipment, kitchenware and appliances used by us.
How much will a party cost me?
The total cost is a function of five variables:
1) number and type (veg./non-veg.) of dishes,
2) number of guests,
3) number of servers needed,
4) number of hours of service required, and
5) distance from our restaurant.

As an example, with three basic chaats (chaat papri, pani puri and bhel puri), at least 50 guests, two servers and two hours of service within a five mile radius of our store, a typical chaat party starts at $8.99 per adult guest. This includes all you can eat food, disposables, full service, and clean up. We believe that this is an incredible deal!!

For a quick cost estimate of your specific requirements, click on the button. For a binding quote, submit a quote request from within the "Estimate Cost" utility. Given that each party has different requirements, we will be very happy to quote for your requirements over the phone or via email. Please call us at (630) 236-0642.
What about children?
We consider children from 5 to 10 as one-third adult equivalent and from 11 to 15 as half adult equivalents.
What if some guests are no shows or more guests than expected come?
Generally we bring more food than required and are able to serve a few extra guests. We will charge you the initial price quoted to you plus for any additional guests that we serve. We are unable to offer any discount for no-shows.
Do I have to tip?
Our servers expect a reasonable tip in line with the food industry norms of about 15%. Please tip the servers before they leave.
How much experience have you had?
We have hosted about 75+ parties since the spring of 2004 with the number of guests ranging from 20 to over 400. We have also served food at formal events, e.g., Miss Teen India USA and Diwali Mela, Schaumburg.
